The Hobby

Founded in 2018, Personalized Auto Detailing was born from Jake Ware’s lifelong passion for cars and detailing. Jake began working on his first vehicle, a 2008 Infiniti M35x gifted by his parents, at just 16 years old — right in his family’s garage. Like many detailers, he started small, experimenting with products he read about online and learning from countless YouTube tutorials.

Over the years, Jake dedicated his weekends to refining his skills, keeping up with the latest techniques and products, and mastering the craft of auto detailing. What started as a personal hobby grew into a professional pursuit, driven by his love for working on vehicles and the satisfaction of delivering results he could call his own.

The Hustle

After spending several years detailing friends’ and family’s cars while balancing part-time customer service jobs, Jake began to understand what it truly meant to run a business. While attending Ohio State University and pursuing a degree in Business Operations and Management, he honed his skills in both customer service and entrepreneurship.

In 2024, after completing his BA, Jake officially formed Personalized Auto Detailing LLC. Even with a small client book, he remained committed to growing PAD. Recognizing that his true passion was automotive care and enhancement. Jake dedicated himself to marketing, selling, and expanding PAD — turning his lifelong hobby into a thriving business.
